This arrangement uses the familiar melody from Piae Cantiones of 1582, set in a bluesy style. It could be sung by two or three soloists (playing the King, the Page (and the Narrator)), or by a choir divided into high and low voices, or by unison voices, or as a solo. There is a piano accompaniment, which could be enhanced by string bass and/or light drum kit.
