Christmasimultaneousongs

Paul writes: I put together "Christmasimultaneousongs" partly for the pure joy of combining two well-known seasonal tunes at once, but also to meet a particular need for repertoire, which I feel may be shared by fellow choral directors. I lead several ad hoc choirs each Christmas season, and never know, from year to year, how many singers will turn up, and what their musical level will be. What I really needed was material that could be learned by people with no prior experience of singing in harmony or reading music, but still interesting enough to appeal to those who have a strong choral background and are vocally confident. The arrangement(s) can be sung by any combination of voices. At the time of writing (2026) there are eight pieces in the collection, but there are more in preparation!
